Mission Statement
Our mission is to support children to reach their highest developmental, social and academic potential.
We will create and maintain a developmentally appropriate environment in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF), empowering families to participate in and enhance their child's education.
Mullumbimby Community Preschool promotes student success through parent involvement, professional development and a collaborative environment committed to the wellbeing of the children.
As success is realised by the growth and development of children and their families, we provide opportunities for all children to learn together and we welcome, support and provide resources for families.
Children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational, creative and fun activities each day. An active partnership between parents, teachers and children will help us obtain these desired results:
We encourage parent participation in the programme and centre decisions. Committee meetings, surveys, communication box, newsletters and brochures on noticeboards are some of the ways parents can keep abreast of and become involved in whats happening at Preschool.
Daily events and activities are on display for parents to review during departure. We invite parents comments, contributions and suggestions.
